Jersey Film Festival Brochure 2009

The Channel Island of Jersey holds its fifth Amnesty International Film Festival from 15th to 19th June, 2009.  Here’s the detailed brochure. The events laid on by the organisers include Richard Wainwright’s photographic Exhibition, Illustrated talks, poetry, stand-up comedy – and of course films. The documentary, Taxi to the Dark Side will be screened on the evening of Thursday 18th June, with appearances by Moazzam Begg and Ahmed Ghappour, staff attorney from Reprieve.

I will be leading a workshop on Armed Voices on 19th June, followed by a performance of Memories of Stone later that evening. Then I kick back my heels to enjoy Keith Farnan’s comedy.
